About the Cabin
The Twin Puffins is a two bedroom, two bath beautiful log cabin situated on a 40-acre homestead, nestled into the rolling foothills just 15 minutes east of Homer, Alaska. This cozy cabin creates an inviting atmosphere for your stay. French doors lead out to a spacious, partially covered deck where you will find the perfect spot to unwind and take in the breathtaking views of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountains and Grewingk Glacier, as well as the iconic Homer Spit.
Directly below the cabin lies a peaceful green pasture with a large pond where wildlife, such as moose and the occasional black bear or coyote, may be seen. Moose are known to enjoy an occasional swim in the pond during a summer evening.

The Twin Puffin is a family owned and operated vacation rental cabin which provides a variety of extras to ensure our guests are comfortable and entertained during their stay.
Inside, the cabin features a spacious open-concept living area designed for comfort and convenience.
· A fully equipped kitchenette with a stove, refrigerator with small freezer, full-size microwave, and dishwasher
· A full-size washer and dryer, dining space, and comfortable seating
· Sleeping arrangements include a king bed with en-suite bath, convertible twin beds with access to the main bathroom, and a futon-style sofa bed for additional guests.
Outside, there ia a covered propane BBQ station, with the option to enjoy meals indoors or out on the deck.
Amenities include free, high-speed WiFi*, Smart TVs in both bedrooms and the front room; and Bluetooth speakers in the front room and the deck; plus, a few books and a small number of games like Chess and Scrabble.

Rates
The Twin Puffins require a minimum stay of three nights. However, in certain circumstances, and based on scheduling availability, shorter stays of less than three nights may be considered with special approval. The nightly base rate is $325, which accommodates up to four guests. For each additional guest, an extra $25 per person applies, with a maximum of two additional guests allowed. A one-time cleaning fee of $100 applies to each rental. Additionally, a 3% sales tax will be added, calculated on the total rental amount. To avoid extra charges and fees, we recommend booking your stay directly with us.
